Suite Pastores es un proyecto anexo a una casa existente en Tapalpa, Jalisco. Surge como una extensión discreta que busca mantener cercanía con la vivienda principal, sin invadir su intimidad. La orientación y escala del volumen permiten una convivencia serena entre ambos espacios, favoreciendo la autonomía de la suite sin renunciar al diálogo con lo ya construido.

El proyecto encuentra su identidad en la relación con el entorno inmediato: un patio en forma de "L" abraza árboles preexistentes y articula el espacio interior desde una lógica introspectiva. La losa, también en "L", se pliega sobre el volumen con una línea curva que suaviza el gesto arquitectónico y establece un contrapunto sutil con el trazo ortogonal del patio. Este juego formal da lugar a una atmósfera en la que lo construido se adapta y se rinde al paisaje, diluyendo sus límites en favor de la experiencia del habitar.

Suite Pastores is an annex project for an existing house in Tapalpa, Jalisco. It emerges as a discreet extension that seeks to maintain proximity to the main residence without invading its privacy. The orientation and scale of the volume allow for a serene coexistence between the two spaces, favoring the suite's autonomy without sacrificing dialogue with the existing building.

The project finds its identity in its relationship with its immediate surroundings: an L-shaped patio embraces pre-existing trees and articulates the interior space from an introspective perspective. The slab, also L-shaped, folds over the volume with a curved line that softens the architectural gesture and establishes a subtle counterpoint to the orthogonal layout of the patio. This formal interplay creates an atmosphere in which the built environment adapts and surrenders to the landscape, blurring its boundaries in favor of the experience of living.
